MRGNGVSNS
MERGING VISIONS is an immersive experience that expands the urban digital twin into a medium for storytelling and worldbuilding, exploring the Salzburg Festival site. Through three chapters, visitors journey across scales and time, exploring the site’s geological, cultural and ecological dimensions. Layered visualizations bring ecological processes, more-than-human relationships and intangible cultural qualities into urban representation.
It has premiered as part of The Living Archive Exhibition at Mozarteum XR Lab. Later on exhibited at Ars Electronica 2026 as part of the Deep Space programme and Stagin Realities Festival in Salzburg.
This work has been developed within the framework of ongoing S+T+Arts Ec(h)o residency and won Content Vienna 2025 production grant by Vienna Business Agency.
The exhibitions is Cooperation between the Salzburg Festival and Ars Electronica Linz, the Media Solution Centre Baden-Württemberg and the High Performance Computing Centre Stuttgart, as well as the Institute for Open Arts at the Mozarteum Salzburg as part of S+T+ARTS Ec(h)o, funded by the European Union.
